AEA Actors Working for AEA Actors

Equity Library Theatre Chicago (ELT) is a theater company dedicated to providing challenging work for members of Actors' Equity Association (AEA), the union of professional actors and stage managers.

Equity Library Theatre Chicago, founded in 1952, is Chicago's oldest ongoing producing showcase organization for members of Actors' Equity Association. ELT remains dedicated to showcasing Chicago actors.

Many actors have valued their participation in an ELT production.  Famous Chicago theatre alumni such as Joe Mantegna and Dennis Franz have performed with ELT toward the beginning of their careers.

Our recent collaborations have allowed nationally recognized playwrights to produce new works utilizing the talents of Equity actors and professional directors.

We are now accepting donations for our upcoming production.  Please help us in our mission to bring
exciting new works to life.
